Poem (from a Japanese garden) for solo piano

Poem (from a Japanese garden) for solo piano, was inspired by an exquisite garden in Kyoto. The music represents a meditative walk through the garden, in which an object in the garden, observed from different locations, changes its appearance. The opening three-note musical motif symbolises the viewed object, which is presented in varied ways as the music unfolds. The work has a duration of four minutes, and can be played quite freely to instil a sense of peace and tranquility.
